OMG I'M SO STOKED FOR MEDUSA TO OPEN IN DETROIT'S MIDTOWN!!! i mean we've had some great restaurants pop up in that area but this one sounds AMAZING! chef anthony lombardo is a genius and his take on sicilian cuisine is going to be SO DELICIOUS!!! the fact that he's using traditional ingredients like olive oil, capers, and anchovies but putting his own spin on them is going to make for an UNFORGETTABLE DINING EXPERIENCE!!! i'm seriously counting down the days until medusa opens in late december/early january - cant wait to try it out!!!
I'm so over another Italian restaurant opening up in Midtown I mean, don't get me wrong, Sicily is amazing and all, but can't we try something new for once? Like, have you seen the state of the local vegan scene lately? It's like nobody cares about plant-based food except for a handful of hipsters . I'm not saying Medusa won't be good or anything, it probably will be delicious and all, but come on, Detroit deserves some variety in its restaurants, you know?
