I totally feel for Katie Boulter right now... failing to make it into the main draw at the Australian Open is always tough, but adding that she's already behind due to her low world ranking makes it even harder. 106th in the world? That's a lot of ground to cover. I think it's great that she's prioritizing her recovery and wanting to give players time off to avoid burnout... tennis can be a brutal sport, and we need to take care of our bodies (and minds) too. But at the same time, missing out on the main draw must be really disappointing for her. Hopefully, qualifying rounds will be a good opportunity for her to get back in the game and make some waves...
awww poor Katie!!! i was so hyped for her to do well at Aus Open, she's one of my fave brits on the tour! 106th world ranking is def a bummer but she's not gonna let it get her down, right? she's already showing us that she cares about player burnout and recovery, that's so admirable i'm rooting for her all the way!!! let's go Katie!
