Playboi Carti's 'Antagonist' Tour Brings High-Energy Performance to Little Caesars Arena
Last Halloween night, the Atlanta-born rapper brought his "Antagonist" tour to Little Caesars Arena, marking the 15th stop on a 28-city tour that has already taken fans on an energetic rollercoaster ride. The event was set up in collaboration with Carti's Opium labelmate Apollo Red and featured sets from Homixide Gang, Destroy Lonely, and Ken Carson, all of which quickly generated a mosh pit on the main floor.
As the night began at 7 p.m., fans donned black outfits and white face paint to match Carti's signature dark aesthetic. The rapper himself took the stage at 9:50 p.m., beginning with his opening track "Pop Out" from his third studio album Music, released in March. Despite a visually striking setup – including two pickup trucks on either side of the floor used as props and multiple fog machines that kept him hidden throughout the performance – Carti's high-energy set was somewhat hindered by the lack of direct stage lighting.

. the crowd was all dressed up in black and white, but it just felt like everyone was tryin to fit into this aesthetic rather than actually enjoyin the music. and have u seen his setlists? same old tracks every time... i mean, i guess if u r a die-hard fan or somethin', it's cool, but for me, it's just more of the same old thing
