Chubby Cattle's Wagyu Hotpot House Now Open in Novi, Bringing Authentic Japanese Cuisine to Michigan

A new dining destination has opened its doors in the Sakura Novi development, bringing a unique take on traditional Japanese cuisine to the Michigan market. Chubby Cattle Wagyu Shabu House, the first restaurant from the Chubby Group in Michigan, is now open for business at 42768 Grand River Ave., offering an all-you-can-eat yakiniku hotpot experience.

The brainchild of co-founder David Zhao, who claims that Michiganders are "some of the country's most adventurous food lovers," Chubby Cattle promises to deliver a premium Japanese-style dining experience. The restaurant's elevated menu features high-quality ingredients, including fresh-cut A5 Wagyu from an Oregon ranch, allowing diners to cook their cuts to individual preference at their tableside grill.

In addition to its signature wagyu hotpot, the restaurant offers sushi and hand rolls, seafood, milk tea, and Japanese desserts. Prices range from $48 per person to $78 per person, making it a relatively affordable option for foodies looking to indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine.

Visitors will be immersed in a unique environment inspired by Japanese anime, with vibrant wall murals adding to the restaurant's lively atmosphere. For those looking to get a taste of Chubby Cattle before opening its doors, more information can be found on their website or Instagram account @chubbycattleshabunovi.

omg u gotta try this new wagyu hotpot place in novi!!! ๐Ÿคค 48 bucks per person is def doable for all that deliciousness and they got anime vibes going on in the decor lol, but seriously tho, i'm lowkey excited to check it out myself. has anyone tried it yet?

๐Ÿคฉ finally got a decent spot for Wagyu fix in MI ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ! Chubby Cattle's got it right, Michiganders are indeed foodies at heart ๐Ÿ’ช, but I'm excited to see how this all-you-can-eat shabu house thing plays out. The A5 Wagyu is a major selling point for me - those flavors and marbling levels can't be beat ๐Ÿคฏ! Plus, the anime vibe is always a fun twist on dining - hope they keep it colorful and lively ๐Ÿ˜Ž! $48-$78 might seem pricey at first, but considering it's an authentic Japanese experience (hello, yakiniku!), I think it's worth splurging for ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ‘Œ. Anyone planning to give it a try? ๐Ÿค”

Just heard about this new Wagyu hotpot place in Novi and I'm super curious now ๐Ÿค”! 48 bucks for all you can eat? That's a pretty good deal if you ask me, especially considering the quality of ingredients they're using - A5 Wagyu is no joke ๐Ÿ’ธ. As someone who's been around the block a few times, I think it's awesome that they're bringing authentic Japanese cuisine to Michigan. My wife and I might just have to give it a try this weekend ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ

just had lunch at chubby cattle and omg that wagyu hotpot is TO DIE FOR ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿœ! i mean i was a bit skeptical at first thinking it's just another asian food place in the area, but trust me this one hits different ๐Ÿคฏ they have so many options for protein and the freshness of their ingredients is on point ๐Ÿ’š also, that decor is straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ the vibe is super lively and fun ๐ŸŽ‰ can't wait to come back and try more of the menu ๐Ÿ˜‹

OMG u guys i just tried chubby cattle wagyu hotpot house in novi and it's literally LIFE.CHANGING ๐Ÿคฉ!! i mean the A5 wagyu is SO tender and juicy i felt like i was eating a cloud ๐ŸŒซ๏ธ!!! the service is also super friendly and attentive, david zhao seems really cool too ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ‘. i had the all-you-can-eat hotpot experience for $58 and it was TOTALLY worth it i tried like 5 different types of meat and seafood and everything was SO flavorful ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ”ฅ. i also love how they have anime-inspired decor, it's so fun and lively ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘€! anyway i highly recommend chubby cattle to all my foodie friends in michigan ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’–

just had lunch at chubby cattle and gotta say its def worth the hype ๐Ÿคค! they got this crazy good wagyu hotpot that's literally to die for ๐Ÿ˜‹, and the staff is super friendly too ๐Ÿ‘. i mean yeah its a bit pricey but its authentic japan food and you can tell they put alot of love into it โค๏ธ. dont believe all the haters who say michiganders arent adventurous foodies lol ๐Ÿ‘Ž, chubby cattle just proved them wrong ๐Ÿ™Œ!

just had my lunch at chubby cattle and it was pretty cool ๐Ÿคฉ they got the atmosphere just right, you know? like walking into a anime world. and the food...oh man, that wagyu hotpot is insane ๐Ÿ˜‹ been to some fancy restaurants before but this one feels super legit. 78 bucks for all u can eat? not bad at all considering the quality of the ingredients. dont think i'll be going back every day tho, lol

OMG, I'm low-key hyped about this new spot ๐Ÿคฉ, but I gotta say, the prices are kinda steep for Michigan (idk if Michiganders are that adventurous with their wallets ๐Ÿ˜‚). I mean, $48-$78 per person? That's like, a lot of cash to drop on a bowl of hot pot. On the other hand, if you're a true foodie who wants authentic Japanese cuisine, I guess it's worth it ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. The Wagyu beef sounds insane tho ๐Ÿ˜, I've had it at fancy restaurants before and it's like butta ๐Ÿฅ“. Maybe I'll have to give it a try, but only if they offer a "budget" option lol ๐Ÿ’ธ

I'm kinda surprised that it took them so long to open up shop in Michigan, I mean, there are always some foodies around here who'd love authentic Japanese eats. And Wagyu hotpot sounds like an amazing experience, I loved those late-night Shabu-Nikus with my friends back in the day. The fact that they're using A5 Wagyu from Oregon is pretty cool too, hope it's worth the splurge. And $48-$78 per person seems reasonable, not too bad for a high-quality meal. The anime vibes at this place sound like it'll be a lot of fun though, I'm definitely gonna check it out and see what all the fuss is about... ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ‘€

omg just saw this I'm so hyped they got wagyu beef from oregon that's like the good stuff! $48-$78 per person is a lil steep tho but if it's authentic japanese cuisine i'm down to try it out ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ”ฅ their anime inspired decor sounds lit too can't wait to go and get my sushi fix

๐Ÿค” I'm excited to see the introduction of authentic Japanese cuisine to Michigan! The use of high-quality ingredients like A5 Wagyu is a big plus, as it's not common in this region. The all-you-can-eat yakiniku hotpot experience sounds like an incredible value for foodies who want to try something new. I'm also impressed by the attention to detail, from the anime-inspired decor to the carefully curated menu. However, I do wonder if the prices might be a bit steep for some diners - $78 per person is still quite pricey! ๐Ÿค‘ Overall, I think Chubby Cattle Wagyu Shabu House has the potential to become a go-to spot for Japanese food enthusiasts in Michigan. ๐Ÿ‘

omg I'm so hyped about this new spot in Novi! authentic Japanese food is super hard to find in the Midwest and now we have Chubby Cattle's Wagyu Hotpot House ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿœ. I mean, who doesn't love a good hot pot? and Wagyu beef is like, the ultimate luxury food - it's gonna be so juicy and flavorful! ๐Ÿ˜‹ David Zhao is a genius for believing in Michiganders being adventurous foodies, because we totally are (hello, Coney Islands and Detroit-style pizza lovers!) ๐Ÿคช. I'm already planning my hot pot date night with friends, this place better not disappoint!

I'm gonna say it, but I think $78 per person for all-you-can-eat is kinda steep ๐Ÿ˜…. I mean, I love a good hotpot as much as the next guy, but that's just crazy rich. They're basically charging you for the experience of eating like a king... or in this case, a Japanese emperor ๐Ÿ’ธ. Now, if they were serving some kinda fusion crap, maybe I'd be down, but authentic Wagyu all day, every day? That's just asking too much from the average Joe ๐Ÿค‘.

๐Ÿค” just had my lunch at chubby cattle and wow that wagyu is insane! i mean i've had it in china but this oregon ranch stuff is next level ๐Ÿ’ช. the atmosphere's pretty cool too, feels like a mix of anime and japan pop culture ๐ŸŽจ. been meaning to try their sushi for ages now gonna have to go back there soon ๐Ÿคค $48 might be a bit steep tho but hey you get what you pay for, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰
