New Gourmet Toast Chain Toastique Set to Open in Detroit's Downtown Area
A vibrant and health-conscious cafe chain, Toastique, is gearing up to open its first location in Detroit, promising a fresh alternative for the city's food scene. The company, founded in Washington D.C. in 2018, boasts a menu featuring gourmet toast, açaí bowls, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and specialty coffees.
Located near Campus Martius park at 89 Monroe St., Toastique will officially open its doors to the public on November 8th, marking a significant milestone for the siblings-led business. The six owners, all of whom are also related by blood, have chosen Detroit as their first location due to the city's growing population and need for quick and healthy dining options.
"We felt like the city really needed something like this," said Nour Kanaan, one of the store's founders. "There's so much growth happening here, but not many places that serve clean ingredients and vibrant dishes."
The siblings are committed to building a loyal customer base by offering exclusive deals and promotions during the opening week. These include $50 in rewards for the first 100 customers who spend at least $10 on November 8th, as well as free drip coffee with any purchase of $10 or more.
"We want our first location to be something special that people keep coming back to," said Aya Kanaan, another founder. "We're not just about serving delicious food; we also care about providing nutrient-packed options that benefit customers."
The store will operate seven days a week from 7 am to 5 pm and will feature an array of healthy menu items, all carefully crafted with high-quality ingredients.
By opening its first location in Detroit, Toastique aims to become an integral part of the city's culinary landscape, offering residents and visitors alike a fresh alternative for quick, healthy, and delicious meals.
