Juventus have appointed Italian football manager Luciano Spalletti to replace Igor Tudor as their manager on an interim basis until the end of the season. The 66-year-old was sacked after a defeat by Lazio, prompting Juventus to bring in Spalletti, who has extensive experience managing top-tier teams including Inter Milan and Napoli.
Spalletti previously managed Naples where he led them to win the Serie A title just last year, before going on to manage Italy's national team. During his tenure with the Italian side, he helped qualify them for Euro 2024, despite ultimately losing in the tournament's knockout stage.
Prior to joining Juventus, Tudor took over from Thiago Motta after a string of losses and has left the club with an eight-match winless run behind him. Massimo Brambilla will be in charge of his team on Wednesday.
It is now clear that this is not a permanent appointment, however, as Spalletti is only taking over until the end of the season, with Juventus still looking to find their long-term solution at the helm.
