What – if anything – did Asian countries get out of Donald Trump's whirlwind tour?

OMG, I'm soooo hyped about Malaysia getting that deal on their minerals supply chain 🤩! Like, it's not just about the money, it's also about diversifying their economy and reducing their reliance on other countries 😊. And can we talk about how strong Sanae Takaichi is as PM? She totally brought home the bacon for Japan with that "charm offensive" 💁‍♀️🇯🇵! I know some people might say it's just a trade deal, but I think it's more than that - it's about building relationships and creating opportunities 🌟. And can we please get a team of experts to analyze the South Korea deal ASAP? Like, what are the implications of them commissioning nuclear-powered subs? 🤔💥

I don't think these trade deals are gonna make that big of a difference in the long run 🤔. I mean, we've seen it before - countries signing agreements left and right, but then nothing happens 💸. Malaysia got some critical minerals deal, but what's the real plan behind it? And Japan just secured some rare earths... how's that gonna help them in the long term? 🤷‍♀️

And don't even get me started on South Korea's nuclear submarine thing... that's just a recipe for disaster 🚨. I think we're just seeing America trying to shore up their relationships with Asian countries while they're still figuring out what to do about China 😬.

And honestly, it feels like the US is just jumping from one crisis to another 🌪️. One minute it's North Korea, the next minute it's South Korea's nuclear subs... can't we just focus on something for once? 🙄

I think APEC is meant to be more than just a trade war truce - it should be about actual progress and cooperation between countries 💪. But I guess that's too much to ask from politicians 🤷‍♀️.

I'm not sure if it was all worth it... I mean, these countries did score some decent deals, but are they gonna make a real difference? Malaysia gets its minerals supply chain sorted, Japan gets access to rare earths, and South Korea gets a sweet trade deal 🤔. But at the same time, we're still left wondering if China is just gonna swoop in and steal the show anyway 😬. And what about Thailand and Cambodia's ceasefire agreement? Is that really just a PR stunt or does it actually mean something? 🤷‍♂️ It's all a bit murky, you know?
